Bond It Expands Production Capabilities of Floor Levelling Compounds

Manufacturer of sealants, adhesives, grouts, polyurethanes, waterproofing compounds and other building chemicals, Bond It has extended its production capabilities. Following a 1/4M investment into a new powder plant at its West Yorkshire factory last year, the business has now begun the exclusive UK manufacturing of Schonox floor levelling compounds.

Previously distributed by Bond It but manufactured in Germany, Schonoxs floor levelling compounds are widely recognized, especially in the flooring industry, as being world leading. They are the preferred choice for professional flooring contractors and a growing number of other tradesmen thanks to their impressive versatility, ease of application, reliability and performance.

Four Schonox compounds continue to be available from Bond It - Schonox AP (a synthetic, gypsum, interior self-levelling compound) Schonox APF (a synthetic, gypsum, fiber-reinforced, interior self-levelling compound) LC Latex self-levelling compound and FPL Plus cement-based self-levelling compound. It is these latter two products - LC Latex and FPL Plus - that the company is now manufacturing in the UK under license.

Bond Its ability to produce these products itself rather than importing them will offer significant benefits both to stockists and end-users. Not only will it increase product availability and reduce order lead times, but it will also shorten supply chains and cut transportation costs. Bond It plans to pass on these savings to its customers.
