Electrolube to Launch Flame Retardant Encapsulation Resin at SMT Hybrid Packaging

With a number of Electrolubes new products showcasing for the first time at SMT Hybrid Packaging, the global electro-chemicals manufacturer has announced it will launch a further new isocyanate free encapsulation resin alongside the companys newest silicone resin products and CO₂ reducing aerosol technologies.

PE7600 is a high performance, opaque, flame retardant encapsulation resin developed primarily for potting delicate electronic and electrical components where conditions can be extremely varied. The polyester resin combines high flexibility at extremes of temperature with excellent electrical properties and with its low hardness it has the added benefit of being reworkable. In addition, PE7600 offers flame retardance, meeting the highest classification level according to industry standards, UL94 V-0. The encapsulation resin also eliminates the use of harmful isocyanates without compromising performance, to create a completely hazard free environment for operators. Available in 250g resin packs and 5kg kits, PE7600 has a simple 2:1 mix ratio and exhibits rapid gel times.

Electrolubes management and technical team will be available at Stand 524 in Hall 7 to help identify solutions for visitors with specific electronic and manufacturing requirements and to discuss the benefits of their extensive product range including contact lubricants, conformal coatings, electronic cleaning products, thermally conductive materials, encapsulation resins and service and maintenance products.
