Dow to Launch a Bio-based Compostable and Two Solventless Adhesives at DRUPA 2012

Horgen, Switzerland -- Dow Performance Packaging will be introducing a new bio-based compostable ADCOTE and two solventless MOR-FREE adhesives at DRUPA 2012, taking place from May 3 to 16 in Dusseldorf. In addition, Dows commitment to innovation and technical excellence will come to life with a demonstration of the MOR-FREE L715A+C102 solventless adhesive on one of the laminating lines on the stand of Nordmeccanica SpA.

Representatives of Dow will be available during the show to discuss the new adhesives designed to provide high performance features that enable faster lamination processing and increased food safety. There will also be an opportunity to explore emerging trends in the packaging industry and learn more about Dows combined offering of adhesives and plastics for a wide variety of applications.

The new bio-based compostable ADCOTE adhesive extends the ADCOTE range of solvent-based laminating adhesives for general to high performance packaging solutions for printing applications as well as food, medical and industrial packaging, combining performance and sustainability.
