Oberhausen -- Oxea announces the launch of Oxsoft GPO, the latest addition to the recently launched Oxsoft product range of phthalate-free and non-VOC plasticizers.

Oxsoft GPO can be used for a broad variety of end-uses like automotive, construction and food applications. Within the Oxsoft plasticizer portfolio, Oxsoft GPO plays the role of a good all-round performer, making it perfectly suitable as a general purpose plasticizer.

"Traditional phthalate plasticizers are under pressure and customers are looking for alternatives," said Jacco de Haas, Global Marketing Manager Specialty Esters. "Oxsoft GPO is a one-to-one substitution for traditional general purpose plasticizers like DOP and DINP. Our customers can now offer phthalate-free products without making big changes in formulations and processes and without making significant additional costs," he added.

"Oxea is supporting the significant growth of phthalate-free plasticizers by investing in new products and production capacity," said Miguel Mantas, responsible for Sales and Marketing within Oxeas Executive Board. "Oxea is extending its current capacity to 60-70 kt/a and is planning further significant capacity extensions," he continued.
