Mactac® has launched hotel security seals for adhesion to the hotel room doors to enhance traveler’s safety. Mactac®’s security seals feature, non-residue removable acrylic adhesive. The label reveals a “VOID” image on the facestock when removed. The VOID lettering alerts the travelers of attempted tampering and prevents the re-use and re-application of labels.
Security Labels Create Seal between Door and Door Frame
The security closure labels are designed to create a temporary seal between the door and door frame. The security seal is placed following the cleaning of a hotel room, indicating to future guests that a room has not been accessed upon cleaning and sanitization.
The label facestock has 1.5 mil top-coated gloss polyester film, available in clear, red and blue. The label offers printability via flexography and thermal transfer printers. The label features a 60# blue glassine liner with one side polyethylene lamination. The liner is coated with a release system designed for label dispensing, die-cutting and stripping.
