Bostik at CAMX 2017: to Exhibit Structural Bonding Solutions for Transportation At the show, Bostik will feature web and film products, which are ideal for transportation applications. Able to bond to a range of materials, including composites, these adhesives offer durable, lightweight and flexible bonds while meeting application temperature and safety requirements.
Specifically, Bostik’s featured flame retardant web and film solutions can be custom formulated to meet specific application needs. Ideal for decorative laminates and panel bonding in particular, numerous products at the show have been tested to meet OEM specifications as approved aircraft assembly adhesives.
Furthermore, the company’s range of capabilities, including web, film, liquid and hot melt technologies, enable the development and production of specialty adhesives to match the process and performance requirements of individual applications in a variety of markets.
Smart Structural Bonding
Additionally, Bostik will preview its upcoming debut into the world of smart structural bonding while at CAMX. Back by Arkema’s expertise, these solutions are ideal for composite bonding in the marine market especially, offering top-tier elongation and elasticity as well as decreased adhesive use.
As a part of the Arkema group, Bostik also has access to a broad portfolio of capabilities and technology to further extend the company’s ability to address the most complex bonding challenges.
Speaking in advance of the show, Shawn Cissell, Senior Business Development Manager, said:
“Bostik is excited to be at CAMX again this year and looks forward to exhibiting our smart adhesives for lightweighting and composite technologies. We also appreciate the opportunity to learn how we can help address the industry’s bonding needs.”
